It’s 2016. Can you believe it?! Every year just keeps getting more busy and more hectic. Every Monday of this year – and there have only been two – I’ve started my new year’s resolutions over again. So far, not so good on the resolution front. I can’t seem to stick with the daily yoga schedule I had planned out.
The one thing that I have committed to is the feedback I got from Jean, my acupuncturist. Well, I can’t really call her mine – I’ve only been once, but I’m really looking forward to going back. Have you ever been to an acupuncturist? In only one visit, she gave me facts about digestion that I had never learned from any doctor.
So here’s the deal. They do the needle thing – which helps stimulate the immune system to recover the body to a healthy, balanced state. What else do they do? They listen and give you feedback about how to make everything better. It’s just like a therapist, but you get to eat afterwards – I mean, you’re advised to eat and what to eat. Who doesn’t love that?
One key takeaway: add more protein into my diet. Thus, the Vanilla Green Digestion Smoothie was created.
